The work involved rockfall protection in the Ghat section to mitigate rockfall hazards along the railway tracks. The protection measures included the Design, Supply and installation of High tensile wire rope net, rock bolts, Shotcrete, Debris Flow barrier, Rockfall Barrier with Hellomac.

For slope protection and landslide mitigation, various engineering solutions were implemented, including Macmat HS with Hydroseeding, Steel Grid HR, Consolidated Erdox for road widening , soil nailing, Prestressed Cable anchor and debris flow barriers.
