This project focused on addressing geological challenges in Arunachal Pradesh, specifically related to landslides and soil erosion in the region’s hilly terrain. The primary objective was to implement effective slope protection measures to ensure the stability of infrastructure and mitigate risks to local communities.
It involved the implementation of Maccaferri's advanced slope protection solutions, including the use of high-tensile steel wire mesh systems. The scope included detailed site analysis, design, supply of materials, and supervision of installation.
Given the steep and challenging topography of Arunachal Pradesh, the potential for avalanches posed a significant threat. To address this, ErdoX, a high-performance active avalanche protection system, was integrated into the project.
